SCIENCE LABORATORIES:

BIOLOGY LAB

The Biology Laboratory plays a vital role in hands on learning, fostering scientific inquiry and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real world applications. It offers students the opportunity to perform experiments and cultivate essential scientific skills.

Laboratory Features and Dimensions:
  • Total Area: Approximately 105 sq m.
  • Room dimensions : Length : 15 m, Width : 7 m (approximate)
  • Ceiling Height: Minimum of 3m ensuring adequate air and light.
  • Ventilation: Cross-ventilation facilitated by large windows with exhaust fans
  • Lighting: Ample natural and artificial lighting, supplemented by LED tube lights.
  • Capacity : Accommodates up to 40 students comfortably at a time.

Worktables and Seating arrangement:
  • Three spacious work tables, each accommodating groups of 4- 6 students, along with side platforms that can seat up to 10 students each.
  • Comfortable stools provided for extended experiments.
  • A dedicated cabin and work area for teachers.

Electrical Supply:
  • Multiple power outlets, extension boards are available to support various equipment and devices.

Safety measures:
  • Wide entry and exit door for easy accessibility.

  • The Biology lab proudly features 21 compound microscopes, 4 dissecting microscopes and a projecting microscope, providing an enhanced and independent learning experience.

PHYSICS LAB













The Physics Laboratory serves as a space for students to explore and understand the fundamental principles of physics through practical experimentation. It supports the academic curriculum and fosters scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

  • Room dimensions : Length : 15 m, Width : 7 m (approximate).
  • Ceiling Height: Minimum of 3m suitable for tall apparatus setups such as pendulums or free-fall experiments.
  • Ventilation: Cross-ventilation with large windows.
  • Lighting: Adequate natural and artificial lighting enhanced by LED tube lights.

  • Spacious work tables arranged to accommodate groups of 2-4 students each.
  • Comfortable stools provided for extended experiments.

  • Modern instruments: CROs (Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes),Telescope, digital multimeters.

A well-equipped and spacious physics lab ensures effective learning by providing a hands-on experience of theoretical concepts. Proper design, facilities and safety measures create a conducive environment for scientific exploration and innovation. The facility is availed by classes X , XI and XII around 30 students can be accommodated at a time in this lab.

CHEMISTRY LAB

GENERAL SCIENCE LAB

The General Science lab provides students from classes III – X with opportunities to explore and understand fundamental scientific concepts through hands-on experimentation, observation and documentation.

GERMAN LANGUAGE LAB

The Mathematics Lab, covering an area of 68 sq. meters, serves as a practical learning space for students of Classes VI to VIII. It provides hands-on experiences through interactive activities and projects to make mathematical concepts tangible and relatable.

PSYCHOLOGY LABORATORY:

Purpose and Design :

The school has a well-equipped psychology laboratory designed in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for Classes XI and XII. The lab provides students with ample opportunities for experiential learning as outlined in the curriculum, which emphasises hands-on activities such as the administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardised psychological tests, and the demonstration of key psychological phenomena.

  1. Laboratory Dimensions and Environment :

The lab is spacious and well-ventilated, measuring approximately 23.5 feet in length, 19 feet 4 inches in width, and 10 feet 5 inches in height. This setup provides an ideal environment for individual and group practical work, ensuring students can comfortably engage in their activities.

Experimental Apparatus:

It contains essential experimental apparatuses such as the Mirror Drawing Apparatus, Muller-Lyer Illusion Apparatus, Reaction Time Apparatus, Attention Blink Task Setup, and Tweezer Dexterity Test. These tools facilitate demonstrations and experiments, particularly aligned with the requirements of Class XI.

Psychometric Tools :

The lab is well-stocked with a range of standardised psychometric tools including Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices (RSPM), Maudsley Personality Inventory (MPI), Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16 PF), Differential Aptitude Test (DAT), Self-Concept Questionnaire (SCQ), Adjustment Inventory, and Interest Inventories. These resources help students understand and measure various psychological attributes such as intelligence, personality, aptitude, adjustment, and interests.

Integration of ICT facilities :

The laboratory is also integrated with ICT facilities, including a digi - board that is regularly used to display videos, simulations, and audio-visual presentations related to different psychological concepts. This integration enhances students’ conceptual clarity and engagement, making learning more interactive and effective.

COMPUTER CENTRE:














The school houses a total of five computer labs, including four dedicated academic labs and one multimedia lab. These labs are equipped to cater to the diverse technological needs of students from Classes II to XII.

Laboratory Overview :

There are 105 computers in total, distributed across the labs. Four of the labs are designated for academic purposes, each containing 25 computers, including upgraded i5 and i3 models. The multimedia lab is specifically designed to support the school’s information technology programme for students in Classes IX and X.
