The students of class Pre-Primary celebrated Holi, the vibrant festival of colours with great enthusiasm and joy in the school greens. The celebration aimed to help children understand the cultural significance of the festival while engaging them in fun-filled activities.
The young learners participated in a creative activity where they made colourful handprints on T-shirt cutouts. This activity not only allowed them to explore different colours but also encouraged self-expression and creativity. The school greens were filled with excitement as the children proudly displayed their bright and cheerful artwork. They also coloured a booklet page and learnt about playing safe Holi.
To enhance their understanding of the festival, the children were shown age-appropriate videos and were told simple stories highlighting the importance of Holi. They learned that Holi symbolizes happiness, friendship, unity and the victory of good over evil.
The celebration was a delightful and enriching experience for the children. It provided them with an opportunity to learn about our rich culture and traditions in an enjoyable and meaningful way.
