HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN 2025
CLASSES : Pre School - XII
In alignment with the directives from the government, Delhi Public School, Dwarka, enthusiastically took part in the fourth edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. This initiative, a key part of the Independence Day festivities, week long activities were conducted from 04 - 14 August 2025, with the aim of fostering a strong sense of national pride and unity. By encouraging every citizen to hoist the national flag at their homes, the campaign sought to transform the Tiranga from a national symbol into a personal expression of patriotism.
The histrionic skills of the young patriots and the spirit of patriotism amongst our students was the reflection of the gaiety of the whole nation. A special tribute to ‘Incredible India’ was paid through a quiz - Symbols of Glory. Students of Pre School actively participated in the quiz. Pre-schoolers wore tricolours themed attire, attended a skit by teachers on India’s freedom struggle, brought tri-coloured food items, sang the National Anthem during the week long celebration.
To imbibe the sense of unity and patriotism, a spectacular week long cultural extravaganza 'Utsav...The Spirit of India, States Parade by Little Brigade’ was presented by the students of class Pre Primary.
To honour the sacrifices made by the brave freedom fighters of our country the school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Special Assemblies was put up by the students of Classes II and those of Classes III to V.
On 8 August 2025 with Badge Making for Class VI, where students designed colourful badges inspired by the spirit of freedom. The event saw enthusiastic participation, and the best creations were displayed for all to admire.
Slogan Writing was held for Classes VI–VIII on the theme “India – My Pride”. Using vibrant colours and thoughtful expressions, students penned inspiring messages, which were showcased on the school bulletin board.
On 12 August 2025, the Character Parade for Classes VI and VII brought history to life as students dressed as renowned Indian freedom fighters and national leaders. Each participant delivered a short dialogue or slogan, capturing the essence of their chosen personality. Class VIII students took part in Patriotic Poem Recitation in Hindi and English Language, stirring emotions with verses that celebrated the nation’s heritage and sacrifices.
Classes IX - XII celebrated Independence Day with activities promoting patriotism and respect for India’s heritage. Students chose from four options. In Patriotic Poster Making, they depicted national symbols, freedom fighters, and India’s journey to independence with striking visuals. Slogan Writing showcased crisp, impactful phrases on freedom and pride. The Independence-Themed Tabloid highlighted key events, struggles, and contributions of freedom fighters. In Patriotic Poem Recitation, participants presented self-composed poems with emotion and clarity.
A Documentary on Freedom Fighters was also showcased, portraying their courage and sacrifices.
The celebrations not only honoured the nation’s history but also inspired creativity, unity, and deeper appreciation for the sacrifices that secured India’s freedom.
The school's celebration commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony where the entire student body and faculty gathered to honor the Tricolour. Students were then motivated to become Har Ghar Tiranga Ambassadors by taking the flag home, displaying it with their families, and uploading a 'Tiranga selfie' to the official campaign website. Throughout the activities, students were educated on the Flag Code of India 2002 to ensure the flag was treated with the proper respect and protocol.
The school also organized a variety of engaging events, including a poster-making competition, an independence-themed quiz, and several cultural performances that highlighted the rich heritage and values of our nation. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Delhi Public School, Dwarka, was an undeniable success. These activities not only provided a deep-seated understanding of the flag’s significance but also inspired students to become active participants in the nation's journey towards a brighter future. The campaign succeeded in instilling a vibrant sense of patriotism and left a memorable mark on the young minds of our students, reinforcing their connection to the country.
