CLASSES : III - V BHARATIYA BHASHA UTSAV 2025
Dates: 05 & 08 December 2025

The theme for this year’s Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav was ‘Many Languages, One Emotion’. In keeping with this, following educational activities were organised:-

  1. Languages Through Music : 05 December 2025

The activity began with the playing of the iconic patriotic song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ in the classrooms. The teacher highlighted the names of the various Indian languages presented in the song, helping students appreciate the linguistic richness and diversity of our nation.

After listening carefully, the children were encouraged to recall and share the names of as many languages as they remembered from the song. This activity helped students recognize the beauty of multilingualism and understand the importance of preserving and respecting all Indian languages. The celebration successfully fostered a sense of unity, cultural pride, and appreciation for India’s linguistic heritage.

  1. Unity in Proverbs and Bhasha Mitra Collaboration: 08 December 2025

A special language-enrichment activity titled 'Unity in Proverbs and Bhasha Mitra Collaboration' was conducted for the students of class V. The session focused on introducing a set of common English proverbs along with their Hindi equivalents. Each proverb was explained in simple language, and students were guided to understand the meaning, usage, and cultural significance behind both versions.

The activity helped students appreciate the beauty of multilingual expression and recognize how wisdom is shared across languages. Through interactive discussions, examples, and quick recall exercises, learners actively participated and enjoyed discovering similarities between English and Hindi sayings. Overall, the session successfully promoted linguistic awareness, cultural connection, and collaborative learning among the students.

    GRATITUDE - THE HELPERS WEEK

    Pre Schoolers celebrated “Gratitude: The Helpers Week” from Monday, 08 December 2025 to Friday, 12 December 2025 to help children recognise and appreciate the role of community helpers. A plethora of activities were conducted during this week:

    Children learnt about different helpers and their roles in the society through an informative PowerPoint presentation. A craft activity on ‘Helpers Tools’ was conducted to help children understand the tools used by various helpers. Children interacted with school helpers during the Meet ‘n’ Greet session to know about their role in the community. They made creative thank you cards to express their gratitude towards the helpers.

    The week ended with Intra-Section Fancy Dress Competition, where children dressed up as their favourite community helper and spoke confidently about their role.

    The week successfully helped children develop respect, empathy, and thankfulness towards the helpers who make our lives easier every day.

      Cambridge EY 1 celebrated “Community Champions Week from Monday, 08 December 2025 to Friday, 12 December 2025 to help children recognise and appreciate the role of community helpers. During this week, a plethora of activities were conducted -

      Baker’s Delight

      • Children enjoyed pretending to be bakers and decorated their own muffins with excitement and creativity.

      First Aid Box Craft

      • Children made a simple First Aid Box by placing pictures of essential items in a transparent box, helping them learn about basic safety tools.

      Card Making Activity + Meet n Greet

      • Children created heartfelt ‘Thank You’ cards for their house help/guard, expressing appreciation and gratitude.

      They also met the School helpers and presented the card to them. They understood their role in the society, the tools they use to carry out their work etc.

      Fancy Dress Competition: My Favourite Helper

      • Children came dressed as their favourite helpers and confidently spoke a few lines about their chosen role. The activity was colourful, engaging and full of enthusiasm.

        CLASSES : VI - IX & XI

        DPS Dwarka orgainsed VIBGYOR #2 on Saturday, 13 December 2025 turning the campus into a kaleidoscope of imagination, intellect and collaboration. Around 800 students of Classes VIIX and XI showcased their talents in academic, artistic and vocational displays with each department adding its own hue to the grand mosaic.

        English Department

        The English Department created an immersive literary space where creativity blended beautifully with language learning. Captivating choral recitations by Classes VIII and IX filled the venue with rhythmic harmony and poetic eloquence. The Character Parade by Classes VI and VII added charm as students stepped into the shoes of famous fictional characters, bringing stories to life with expressive costumes and mannerisms.

        Language Games such as Preposition Pin Wheel, Synonym–Antonym matches, sentence identification, crosswords, and Word Bingo kept visitors actively engaged. A variety of models, poetry displays, prose compositions, and visually appealing charts further highlighted the linguistic flair and artistic expression of the students.

        Hindi Department

        The Hindi Department showcased a thoughtfully designed series of activities that made grammar and vocabulary exciting and interactive. Students of Classes VI–IX conducted games on antonyms, gender, synonyms, and classification riddles, encouraging visitors to participate and learn through play.

        A powerful and socially relevant nukkad natak presented by Class IX students stood out as the highlight. The street-play skillfully portrayed educational values and moral principles, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. The combination of language-based activities and dramatic presentation made the department’s contribution dynamic and enriching.

        German Department

        The German exhibition presented a lively and culturally rich environment, decorated in the striking colours of the German flag—black, red, and gold. Students displayed bilingual vocabulary posters, travel brochures, menus, and model houses reflecting German architectural styles.

        Interactive stations allowed visitors to learn basic German greetings, numbers, colours, and simple conversational phrases. Creative exhibits on German festivals, food, personalities, and inventions added depth and diversity.

        The Brandenburg Gate–themed selfie point attracted enthusiastic participants, while quiz activities such as ‘Guess the German Word’ and culture-based rapid-fire rounds built curiosity and excitement. Parents appreciated the students’ confidence, clarity of explanation, and cultural understanding.

        Japanese Department

        The Japanese exhibition offered a vibrant blend of tradition and modernity. A dedicated technology zone introduced visitors to Japan’s leadership in robotics, AI, and transportation, featuring models such as the iconic Bullet Train.

        The Anime & Pop Culture Pavilion delighted students with character cut-outs, artwork, and a lively anime ramp walk. Japanese music, kimono displays, and cuisine presentations such as obentō boxes added authenticity and flavour.

        The Origami Corner displayed exquisite paper-folding art—from cranes and flowers to modern engineering-inspired designs. Overall, the exhibition brought alive the aesthetic refinement and innovation that Japan is celebrated for.

        Russian Department

        The Russian exhibition highlighted the strong cultural and scientific partnership between India and Russia. Colourful stalls showcased Russian literature, cartoons, traditional attire, and famous personalities.

        Models of the BrahMos missile and the SU-500 fighter jet, representing Indo-Russian technological collaboration, emerged as major attractions. A corner dedicated to the beloved characters Masha and the Bear added a fun, child-friendly dimension.
        A special display on the Tolstoy & Gandhi Centre emphasised universal values of peace and truth. Traditional Russian games engaged visitors throughout, making the experience enjoyable and educational.

        French & Spanish Department

        The French and Spanish display celebrated global cultures through language-based projects, vocabulary charts, festival boards, menus, brochures, and creative student presentations. The exhibits highlighted cultural awareness, linguistic appreciation, and students’ growing confidence in foreign languages. The department’s collective effort fostered global sensibilities among learners.

        Sanskrit Department

        The Sanskrit Department presented activities rooted in India’s ancient wisdom and cultural heritage. Students explained the 16 Samskaras through charts and models, helping visitors understand the importance of these traditional life rituals.

        Interactive games on Chatur Āśrama made the concept accessible and engaging. A melodious Sanskrit group song added aesthetic beauty, while grammar-based activities encouraged active involvement. The department’s presentation reinforced the classical richness of Sanskrit.

        Mathematics Department

        The Mathematics Department showcased the subject’s beauty, logic, and practical relevance through a variety of concept-driven activities.

        The Game Zone featured puzzles, probability tasks, and reasoning challenges that attracted enthusiastic participation. Working models demonstrated real-life applications of geometry, algebra, mensuration, and trigonometry.

        A standout attraction, ‘Geo Glam – Maths on Ramp’, featured outfits inspired by geometric shapes and tessellations, merging art with mathematics. Demonstrations of Vedic Math shortcuts, Rubik’s cube-solving algorithms, and abacus techniques further enhanced the appeal of the display.

        Physics Department

        The Physics display combined scientific curiosity with hands-on exploration. Working models of a gyroscope, an earthquake detector, and a hydraulic lift helped simplify complex concepts.

        Infinity mirrors drew attention with their optical illusions, while a functional barometer demonstrated atmospheric pressure.

        Class IX students creatively calculated heights using equations of motion.
        A rocket-themed selfie point and a role parade of famous scientists added colour and excitement to the department’s presentation.

        Chemistry Department

        The Chemistry Department offered a multi-layered experience through games, experiments, and environmental themes. ‘Toss the Ring, Spin the Wheel’ connected chemistry with everyday life and ecological concerns.

        A selfie point themed around elemental nourishment emphasised the role of chemical elements in sustaining life. Students staged a skit on the harmful overuse of palm oil and recited a parody explaining important elements.

        A broad range of working models—water filtration, electrolysis, acid rain, fractional distillation, potato batteries, and invisible ink demonstrations—showcased chemistry’s relevance and wonder.

        Biology Department

        The Biology Department displayed an extensive array of models and interactive activities. Ecosystems, human physiology, e-waste management, and irrigation techniques were explained through detailed models.

        Games such as ‘What’s in the Box, Whiff & Win, Biocipher, and Fact or Cap’ kept visitors engaged. A skit titled ‘Sugar: The Sweet Enemy’ highlighted the health risks of excessive sugar intake.

        The DNA Fingerprinting Corner fascinated visitors by demonstrating its use in crime investigation. Leaf paintings and thematic hangings added artistic charm to the scientific display.

        Geography Department

        Each class presented a well-structured thematic display:

        • Class VI showcased ‘India that is Bharat’ through Harappan city models, diversity collages, and 3D maps.
        • Class VII highlighted India’s wonders with posters, weather instruments, and festival charts.
        • Class VIII linked agriculture to India’s freedom struggle through soil conservation models and crop-based exhibits.
        • Class IX presented natural vegetation, endangered species, and a 3D model of forest distribution.
        • Class XI conducted a Map Trivia Challenge that tested spatial and historical knowledge.

        Together, the exhibits reflected India’s geographical richness and diversity.

        History & Political Science

        The Social Science display merged history, civics, and creativity.

        • Class VI produced magazines on key concepts.
        • Class VII presented models of heritage sites and the Battle of Hydaspes.
        • Class VIII showcased a detailed New Parliament model, charts on the Indigo Rebellion, and crossword puzzles on the National Movement.
        • Class IX designed placards on Fundamental Rights and constituent assembly members.
          A separate Political Science corner featured models on political parties, the functioning of Parliament, and a nukkad natak on corruption, highlighting civic awareness.

        Economics Department

        The Economics exhibition explained development concepts through visually appealing models. Displays included a Modern Village, Factors of Production, Sectors of the Economy, the Public Distribution System, the Banking System, and Sustainable Small-Scale Industries.

        Engaging games like ‘Budget Quest’ and ‘Guess the Sector’ helped visitors grasp economic ideas through play. Small handmade gifts added an element of motivation and appreciation.

        Sociology Department

        The Sociology Department presented the Social Gridlock game, where students answered sociological questions to earn an X or O in a tic-tac-toe grid.

        Models depicted gender inequality and Karl Marx’s base–superstructure theory.
        The ‘Unity in Diversity’ selfie corner showcased India’s cultural variety through attire, cuisines, and dance forms, drawing many enthusiastic visitors.

        Robotics (Robodex Club)

        The Robodex Club offered an exciting display of automated models, including line-following robots, obstacle-avoidance systems, irrigation devices, and smart homes.

        RoboRace challenged participants to navigate complex tracks, while RoboSoccer created a competitive and energetic atmosphere. The exhibition truly reflected innovation, teamwork, and applied technology.

        Commerce Department

        Interactive Commerce stalls introduced visitors to business concepts through three engaging sections: Profit Pursuit (Mock Stock Market), Chase the Ladder (Business Quiz), and Bizcraft (Handmade Product Display).

        Students demonstrated an understanding of financial decision-making, branding, marketing, and entrepreneurship. The handmade products showcased creativity and practical skills.

        Computer Department

        The Computer Department featured podcasts created with students and parents, digital presentations, and an IoT-based smart home automation model.

        A smart city demonstration, digital art gallery, and AI-generated posters showcased the integration of creativity with technology. Robotics models and QR-enabled portfolios created a modern, interactive experience.

        Psychology & Counselling

        Aligned with the theme colour Violet, the Psychology Department presented interactive zones such as a live quiz, wellness bingo, Stroop test, Müller–Lyer illusion, sensory boxes, and calming sensory bottles.

        A 3D Maslow’s Hierarchy model, role plays, resilience tree, gratitude jar, and the display of model related to myths and facts about counselling promoted emotional well-being and awareness. The photo booth and wellness board added thoughtful, reflective elements.

        Yoga Department

        Students across Classes VI–XI presented yoga demonstrations based on themes like ‘Healthy Body, Calm Mind’, ‘Yoga for Inner Strength’, and ‘Yoga and Mental Well-Being’.

        Activities included Surya Namaskar, breathing exercises, advanced asanas, guided meditation sessions, and competitions identifying yoga poses. Informative models and placards strengthened the educational impact.

        Chess Department

        The Chess display highlighted the sport’s strategic depth. Students explained basic rules, showcased famous players, demonstrated tactical tools such as forks and pins, and presented a 3D chessboard model.

        Interactive quizzes and timed puzzle challenges encouraged analytical thinking, concentration, and problem-solving.

        Fine Arts Department

        The Fine Arts display blended creativity with environmental responsibility. Wood block printing on handmade newspaper bags reinforced sustainable art practices.

        Class-wise exhibits included portraits on egg trays, tribal masks, bottle art, decorative hangings from waste material, sandpaper paintings, and collage work using recycled items. The department’s display stood out for its vibrancy and craftsmanship.

        Library – The Joy of Reading

        The library displayed a diverse collection of storybooks, magazines, and works of Hindi authors. Storytelling sessions by Classes VI and VII added liveliness and encouraged young readers to explore literature with enthusiasm.

        Vocational Skills

        Based on the Kaushal Bodh books design by the NCERT, the Creative Club presented paintings on bamboo trays and eco-printing techniques. In the ‘Cooking Without Fire’ section, Class VI designed menus, Class VII created thematic banners, and Class VIII demonstrated live no-fire recipes.

        The Design & Innovation corner featured tissue-paper flowers and corrugated paper constructions, displaying students’ craftsmanship and imagination.

        VIBGYOR #2 emerged as a dynamic celebration of learning, creativity, and collaboration. Each department contributed meaningfully, allowing students to express their ideas through models, performances, games, and interactive demonstrations. Kudos to the students, faculty, and organisers for crafting an event that will linger in the memories, inspiring future endeavours on the path of wisdom and exploration.

          A special Blessings Assembly for Class X students was organised at Delhi Public School, Dwarka, on Monday, 15 December 2025, in the school auditorium. The assembly began with the morning prayer, which created a serene and contemplative atmosphere. The Principal, Ms. Priya Narayanan, addressed the Class X (2025–26) batch, extending her blessings and words of encouragement as the students prepare for the forthcoming CBSE Board Examination.

          In her address, the Principal commended the students for their perseverance, discipline and sustained efforts throughout the academic year. She encouraged them to remain focused and confident, emphasising that consistency and self-belief are essential for success. She offered practical advice on managing examination pressure by maintaining emotional balance, staying calm and adopting healthy routines. Highlighting the significance of effective time management, she advised students to plan their study schedules realistically, prioritise revision and practise regularly to enhance clarity and accuracy.

          The Principal further stressed the importance of surrounding oneself with a strong support system of parents, teachers, and peers, reminding students that seeking guidance and reassurance during challenging times helps in building resilience. During the assembly, she also announced a noteworthy initiative by the DPS Society, a merit-based scholarship of ì 20,000 per student per month. This scholarship will be awarded to the top three rank holders of Class X who secure 95% and above in the CBSE Board Examination and will be extended for two years, covering Classes XI and XII, to support tuition fees, books, and other academic requirements. The announcement was met with enthusiasm and served as a significant motivational boost for the students.

          The address concluded with the Principal invoking blessings for the students, wishing them clarity of thought, strength of effort and confidence to face the examinations with composure and determination. The assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

          Overall, the Blessings Assembly proved to be a meaningful and inspiring experience, reinforcing the school’s unwavering support for Class X students as they approach this important milestone in their academic journey.

            Outdoor activities are vital for student’s holistic growth. Fresh air, sunlight and varied natural environments help build strong bodies and minds. The Adventure Day-Camp was organised in the school premises for the students of classes Pre-School and Pre-Primary on 11 December 2025 and 12 December 2025 for classes I & II, offering children a day filled with excitement, exploration and joyful learning.

            The day began with a surprise with a lively magic show for classes Pre-School and Pre-Primary which instantly captured the little ones’ attention and set a cheerful tone for the camp.

            Children moved to the open field where a series of adventurous activities awaited them. They confidently crossed the Burma Bridge, hopped with delight on the hopscotch track and rolled with laughter while pushing the giant bubble wheel. The thrill continued as they climbed the commando net, enjoyed swinging on the tyre swing and had the best time bouncing on the mockery mouse bouncy, which became the highlight of their adventure.

            The camp concluded with a vibrant dance party in the field where children grooved freely and celebrated their energetic spirit. After the activities, they relished the refreshments provided and were finally dispersed with happy hearts and bright smiles.

            Overall, the Adventure Camp was a memorable experience that encouraged confidence, physical activity and pure fun for the children.

                On Tuesday, 9 December and Wednesday, 10 December 2025, Delhi Public School, Dwarka celebrated the Scholar Badge Ceremony for the students of Class 5, for their exceptional academic performance in the session 2024-25, marking a remarkable milestone of 30 years of excellence in nurturing young minds. The function featured mass-participation, wherein all students of Class 5 took the stage, showcasing their collective enthusiasm and pride. On 9 December 2025, the occasion was graced by Dr. Nandini Choudhury Sen, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka. The ceremony was honoured by Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka, on 10 December 2025.

                The event commenced as the host welcomed the esteemed guests, parents and students, setting a celebratory tone for the function. The school choir then beautifully sang the song, ‘We Are the World' as their melodious voices resonated with the theme of Unity and Global Harmony. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness in the pursuit of knowledge.

                Thereafter, the school Principal, Ms. Priya Narayanan addressed the gathering, highlighting the new and encouraging initiative by the DPS Society, wherein students of Class 4 securing 90% and above in core subjects would be awarded the prestigious Scholar Badge. Dr. Nandini Choudhury Sen, in her address, emphasized the importance of cultivating gratitude. She also highlighted the concept of the world as one unified family and inspired the audience by quoting Swami Vivekananda in Sanskrit: ‘Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is achieved.’ Dr. Jyoti Sharma highlighted that DPS Dwarka continues to shine owing to the dedicated efforts of the Principal and the committed staff. She further emphasized that a new journey of academic leadership has begun, one that calls for the school and home to work in close partnership to nurture and support every child’s growth.

                Next, an impactful play based on the life and teachings of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was staged. The students portrayed key moments from his inspirational journey — from a humble childhood to becoming the ‘Missile Man of India' and the ‘People’s President’. a beloved President. Through powerful dialogues and expressive performances, the play highlighted thirty core values from the life and wisdom of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, in order to inspire and urge young learners to learn from. Each value was hung as a leaf on ‘The Speaking Tree’, as the play progressed. The performance left the audience inspired, reinforcing the message that great leaders are shaped by dedication and perseverance. Indeed, “Riches rust but Virtues endure beyond dust!”
                The event took a vibrant turn with a colourful dance performance by the students. Dressed in captivating costumes, the children danced to the song, ‘If You Believe It’, highlighting the theme of ‘Self-Belief’. Moreover, the children enthusiastically participated in The Rhythmic Tap-along, celebrating their true potential.

                The next segment, titled ‘In It to Win It!’, was conducted as an empowering Talk Show. Eight speakers motivated the students through an exhilarating speech and poem, while thirty famous personalities, inkeeping of 30 years of DPS Dwarka’s educational journey, were introduced one by one, each sharing an inspirational quote to encourage everyone to aim high and achieve their best. A vibrant Mass Character Parade was also presented, wherein students walked in a large group, portraying diverse characters with confidence and poise to unite global leadership in shaping a better future for all. They articulated empowering words of wisdom, enlightening the audience with meaningful reflections and positive messages.

                The highlight of the ceremony was the Scholar Badge Ceremony, wherein the outstanding achievers of Class 5 were awarded their well-deserved scholar badges for their excellent academic performance in the year 2024-2025. The moment was filled with pride, joy and a sense of accomplishment for the students and their families alike.
                The event came to a close with the ‘Vote of Thanks' delivered by the Vice Principal, Ms. Anubha Malhotra, who expressed her gratitude to the Chief Guests, parents, teachers and students for making the occasion a memorable success.

                The Scholar Badge Ceremony not only celebrated academic excellence but also marked the 30th year of DPS Dwarka’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to continue their journey of learning and achievement.

                    Dates: 02 & 03 December 2025

                    Republic Day is observed on 26th January every year as a tribute to the day our constitution came into force. As part of the forthcoming Republic Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence in association with MyGov. had directed all the schools to create awareness amongst children and conduct various activities like essay writing, painting competition, quiz related to theme ‘Republic Day’.

                    To foster patriotic values amongst children, classes I and II conducted a fun-quiz on Tuesday, 02 and Wednesday, 03 December 2025 respectively. Students were divided into teams and they enthusiastically answered questions, testing their knowledge about India's Flag, history, culture and national symbols. The winning teams were given stick on stars as a token of appreciation.

                    Through this engaging activity, students were called upon to express their patriotism and share their vision for a stronger, united and progressive India.

                      In continuation with the Cambridge Day celebrations, a plethora of activities were conducted on Monday, 01 December 2025. The purpose of conducting these activities was to provide a platform to the little learners to translate classroom learning into meaningful real world context. It allowed them to express their understanding through inquiry driven and experiential engagements, demonstrating not only knowledge acquisition, but also the application of essential life skills

                      BHARAT EK KHOJ!!

                      The artefact exhibition “Bharat Ek Khoj” was presented by Cambridge Primary Stage 2 .Elaborate zonal tableaux were presented showcasing the different regions of India. It provided students with a meaningful platform to understand celebrate and take pride in India’s extraordinary cultural diversity.                       Acrostic Artistry Arena -The Word Weaving Wonderland!!

                      By turning simple words into creative poems, children learnt to think critically, expanded their vocabulary and expressed their thoughts with confidence. In this activity, students composed acrostic poems using vibrant vocabulary and illustrations. Students selected their own words-such as HAPPY, LOVE, SMILE, helping the young participants explore and express a wide range of emotions - joy, excitement, curiosity.

                      Creative Expressions – “My World of Smiles”

                      This expressive segment provided learners with an opportunity to explore and articulate their emotions, ideas and creativity through varied forms of performance and visual representation. It was designed to foster linguistic fluency, artistic appreciation and emotional intelligence as children communicated their perceptions of joy, kindness and positivity. This activity also strengthened confidence in public speaking, collaboration and creative thinking, nurturing each learner’s individuality and sense of belonging within the classroom community.

                      The activities conducted not only brought up the inner self of the little ones through acrostic poem parade but also assisted them to express their love and emotions for their country and its rich cultural heritage.

                        Primary Stages 3 and 4 celebrated their Maths and Science Exploration Activity along with engaging English activities on Thursday, 04 December 2025.

                        For Stage 3, the themes were Space in Science and Operations in Numbers in Maths. For Stage 4, the Science topic was Forces and Magnets, while Maths focused on Operations in Numbers. In English, Stage 3 participated in Story Stretchers, and Stage 4 took part in Reading Circle activities.

                        In Science, students explored a variety of concepts through hands-on setups.

                        Stage 3 created models and demonstrations based on Space, including phases of the Moon and the Solar System.

                        Stage 4 showcased activities on Forces and Magnets, such as the Magna Quest board game, Spinning Wheel of Forces, Newton’s Third Law demonstration, and an Aquarium Activity, among others.

                        In Maths, children from both Stages 3 and 4 participated in enjoyable activities that strengthened their number sense and logical thinking.

                        For Stage 3, students conducted activities like Dice to Digits, Division Facts, and Making a 1-Metre Design, helping them understand measurement and numerical operations in fun ways.

                        Both Stages also engaged in Maths Bingo, where they made the audience play tambola using mathematical concepts, along with solving mathematical riddles and other interactive tasks.

                        In English:

                        Stage 3 conducted Story Stretchers and Character Talk. Students received beginnings of well-known fairy tales like Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Hansel and Gretel, and were asked to creatively write the middle and end. In Character Talk, children performed role-plays using props, portraying famous mythological figures and beloved story characters.

                        Stage 4 conducted two Reading Circle activities: Character Talk and Question Box. In Character Talk, children spoke from the perspective of their chosen characters. In the Question Box activity, students prepared two thoughtful questions based on their reading passage and discussed them with peers, fostering critical thinking and cooperative learning.

                        To conclude, these activities helped build children’s confidence, enhanced their expression, and deepened their understanding of various concepts. Overall, it was a delightful session filled with creativity, imagination, and enthusiastic participation from the children.

                          The quiz activity for Primary Stage 1 was conducted on Friday, 05 December 2025 to make learning fun, interactive and meaningful while reinforcing key classroom concepts. At this foundational stage, the activity supported the development of language, numeracy and general awareness through play-based learning. It also helped build confidence, encouraged participation, enhanced listening and speaking skills, and promoted teamwork in a supportive environment.

                          The quiz focused on strengthening conceptual understanding, encouraging thinking beyond rote learning, improving communication skills and fostering both individual and collaborative learning. Curiosity, real-life connections, observation, recall, inclusivity and appreciation of every child’s effort were key aspects of the activity.

                          The quiz was well-structured with age-appropriate questions from English, Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge, presented through warm-up, subject-based, visual, audio and rapid-fire rounds. Students participated in mixed-ability teams, ensuring inclusivity and peer learning. Clear rules, positive reinforcement, effective time management and a transparent scoring system kept students motivated and engaged throughout.

                          Overall, the activity was a successful blend of learning and enjoyment, contributing positively to the holistic development of learners.                             Indian Navy Day is celebrated on 04 December every year to honour the efforts and role of the Indian Navy in Operation Trident conducted during the Indo-Pakistan war in 1971. It is important to educate the children and the citizens of India about the significance and victory of India. The Indian Navy played a crucial Role during the war.

                            Classes I & II

                            Students of class I were asked to wish Happy Indian Navy Day to each other, marking the sign of tribute to the Navy and creating awareness about the difficulties faced by the personnel in the war. Further a video was shown to the students where they got an opportunity to see and learn about the warships of the Indian Naval. To commemorate the attack and to pay tribute to all the navy personnel class II conducted a speaking activity - JAM (Just A Minute) on Thursday, 04 December 2025 wherein, children spoke about the brave men and women of the Indian Navy and their role in protecting our motherland on the topic ‘Water Heroes‘. Each student spoke 2-3 lines highlighting the Indian Navy's achievements and sacrifices.

                            Classes III -V

                            To create awareness and sensitisation among students about the valiant role of the Indian Navy in safeguarding our nation, while encouraging confidence in public speaking, on 4 December 2025, the students of classes III to V celebrated Indian Navy Day through a Just-A-Minute (JAM) Session on the topic “Water Heroes.” Children came well-prepared from home and spoke confidently about the bravery, dedication, and selfless service of the Indian Navy in protecting our motherland. The activity promoted awareness and sensitisation about the vital role of our naval forces while also enhancing students’ speaking skills, knowledge and respect for these true “water heroes.”

                              REPORT ON THE CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

                              The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) was celebrated with great enthusiasm and inclusivity at Delhi Public School, Dwarka on Wednesday, 03 December 2025. The event aimed to promote awareness, empathy, and acceptance within the school community. The following activities were conducted to mark the occasion:

                              1. Distribution of Badges and Pledge Ceremony

                              The celebration commenced with the distribution of specially designed badges and a formal pledge for inclusion was presented to Principal Ma’am, Vice Principal Ma’am (Sr. and Jr. Wing) , and Headmistress Ma’am. This gesture symbolized the school’s commitment to fostering an environment that respects diversity and supports learners with varied needs.

                              2. March for Inclusion

                              A spirited march for Inclusion was conducted in the school corridors. Children With Special Needs (CWSN) from Classes VI-XI participated enthusiastically, accompanied by their peer buddies and peer counsellors. Students carried placards and raised inspiring slogans promoting respect, empathy, and acceptance. The march served as a powerful visual message, spreading awareness about the importance of inclusion within the school.

                              3. Pledge in Classrooms

                              As part of the structured activities, a class-wise inclusion pledge was taken by the students during their Life Skills period. Students reaffirmed their commitment to values such as dignity, kindness, support, and equality for all.
